Spanish Grand Prix
Experience the pulse of racing up close
The Spanish Grand Prix™ in Madrid is the latest chapter in Formula 1® history - and one of the most exciting. The brand-new Madring Circuit combines an urban city atmosphere with state-of-the-art racing: narrow sections give way to explosive straights on which the cars reach speeds of over 340 km/h. The monumental "La Peraltada" banked curve is already one of the most spectacular elements on the entire Formula 1® calendar.
22 bends, striking differences in elevation and a mix of slow chicanes and fast sections challenge drivers and teams alike. Madrid is not a race to get used to - it is a spectacle from the very first lap. The energy of the city, the passion of the Spanish public and the heat of September make every Grand Prix an experience that gets under your skin.
History & Tradition
Madrid returns to Formula 1 after more than four decades®-calendar - and does so with a grand entrance. The Spanish capital last hosted the premier class at the Jarama Circuit in the 1980s, before Barcelona took over the stage. Now Madrid is writing a new chapter: with a contract until 2035 and a purpose-built street circuit, the capital is positioning itself as a long-term fixture on the global Formula 1®-calendar.
The Madring represents the future of motorsport: modern, urban and at the heart of the city's life. Madrid is not a legacy - Madrid is a promise. And in 2026, the first chapter of a story will be written that will last for a long time to come.
